trombone interviews from the brass junkies podcast:

Victor Barranco is a trombone player with The U.S. Army Blues and has performed all over the world.

Joe Alessi is the Principal Trombone of the New York Philharmonic, teaches at Juilliard and is considered by many to be the best trombone player in the world.

Jim Nova is 2nd Trombone of the Pittsburgh Symphony. He is one of the most creative people I know and has a SoundCloud page with hundreds of thousands of listens.

John Rojak plays bass trombone in the American Brass Quintet and teaches at Juilliard. He is also one of the funniest humans on the planet.

Colin Williams is Associate Principal Trombone of the New York Philharmonic although the highlight of his career was playing in youth orchestra with me in the 90's. He has a fascinating tale of coming back from serious injury to win the job with the New York Phil.

Matt Vaughn is Co-Principal Trombone of the Philadelphia Orchestra and former member of the United States Air Force Band.

Harry Watters is a member of the U.S. Army Blues and a trombone soloist all over the world.

Hakeem Bilal and Gabriel Colby are trombonists for two projects: a brass quintet called C Street Brass and a brass quartet with DJ called Beauty Slap.

Leonhard Paul plays trombone and bass trumpet with Mnozil Brass, the best brass group on planet earth.

Wes Funderburk and Tom Gibson are both crazy talented trombone players and teachers in the Atlanta area.

Scott Hartman teaches trombone at Yale and is the former trombone player for the Empire Brass Quintet.
